So I said I was getting back on the horse…but obviously that didn’t happen. LOL!  I do have a good reason though…we’re pregnant!  And anyone who knows me well knows that this means I’ve spent the last 5 months laying on the couch. I do not handle pregnancy well and with a very active 3-year-old son, it’s all I can do some days to make sure he stays fed and safe. Clean and entertained is up to him!  Luckily I have a wonderful husband who picks up my slack whenever he can. But law school is pretty demanding. As is studying for the bar, which is what we’re doing now. We also moved 4 hours away in the midst of all this. (Why oh why do we move when I’m pregnant?  It has happened both times and both times have been hellacious!)  So right now we’re living in a sea of boxes that are waiting for me to be able to unpack them, or for Kellen (husband) to find a few minutes to unpack them. Whatever, we’re functioning. And if you would like to judge me for our chaos, I’ll invite you to do it yourself! Really, I’m not picky about where things go! Any takers? Please?  :)

Anyways, I’ve decided that this whole business thing will just have to take a backseat until after this pregnancy.  This will just become another crafty stay-at-home mom blog. (However, if you are SUPER interested in something you’ve seen posted here, or that we post in the future, feel free to email us – we’ll tell you if we can handle a project or not. Never hurts to ask!)  And even after the baby arrives, I can’t make promises, because this next child is also a boy. And if he has even half the energy of his older brother, I’m in for some very exhausting days for the next 4 1/2 years. Again. I’m happy and welcome the new baby, we already love him, but I have no delusions this time around. It will be at least 4 years of some very trying times. (maybe longer)  Motherhood really is the hardest job I ever could have imagined. I honestly think the moms out there that make it look easy are full of crap – they have to lock themselves in the bathroom for 5 minutes of silence too sometimes. They just have to!

On the plus side, Logan is handling everything really well and is excited for the baby too. He’s starting to mellow out a little bit too and he’s recently found the ability to listen to the important things. Sure, I still yell but generally not as much :)   That’s a big win in my book!

Here’s the growing belly pictures. I think they’re cheesy but boy does Logan love looking at the ones from when he was in my belly! So we’ll continue to do it for all our children.

Logan wanted to take a picture of Daddy and Mommy, this 3-year-old has more photographic talent than his momma!!!  :)

And last…a picture of Logan with Daddy!
